are engaged in some pursuit suqfc as carrying milk pails lifting a fishnet pr stuffing a live goose The costumes were originally observed at weddings festivals religious celebrations anniversary gatherings and folk festivals in the late 18th century The costumes can be found today in various local museums about France Watercolors of 18th Oen-tury French regional costumes will be on display during January at the Kenosha Public Museum These 24 opaque watercolor plates are part of a folio of 200 plates donated to the museum in 1947 by the AH Lance estate They are the work of artists De
